Prayers
Morning Prayers

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ I will begin this day.  I thank you, Lord, for having preserved me during the night.  I will do my best to make all I do today pleasing to you and in accordance with your will.  My dear mother Mary, watch over me this day.  My Guardian Angel, take care of me.  St. Joseph and all you saints of God, pray for me.

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in reparation for my sins, for the intentions of all our Associates, and for the intentions of Our Blessed Mother- For peace in the world, to mitigate our punishments, the conversion of unbelievers, and the end of abortion.

Lord Jesus Christ, you have said: "Ask, and you shall receive; seek, and you shall find; knock.  and it shall be opened to you": give we beg You, to us who ask, the grace of your most divine love, that with all our hearts, words, and works, we may love You and never cease to praise You. Lord, grant us an abiding reverence and love of your holy name, for You never abandon those who are Yours.  You who live and reign forever.  Amen.

Prayer for Priests

We Pray Thee, O Lord Jesus Christ, to shower Thy most abundant and precious graces on the priests of Thy Holy Church, Who are Thy dear servants, the dispensers of Thy celestial graces, the father of our souls; that they being more and more intimately united to Thee may obtain from Thy bounty the grace to confirm our faith; to strengthen our Hope, to increase our charity, to make us detest our sins with more lively sorrow, through our Lord Jesus Christ.  Amen.  O Mary Queen of the Clergy pray for us; obtain for us many Holy Priests.

Prayer for Missionaries

O Lord Jesus Christ, who through your own suffering and death gained salvation for us here on earth, bless our missionaries whose lives are dedicated to the salvation of souls.  Give them the grace to bear their poverty and suffering as You did Yours.  Give them courage, an unselfish spirit of sacrifice and true confidence to spread Your divine truths.  Grant them success in their endeavors, answer their prayers and give them faith to carry Your words to the ends of the earth so that all may gain eternal life with You in Heaven.  Amen.

Allegiance to Christ the King

O Christ Jesus, You are King of all creation.  All things have been made for you.  By every right I am yours to commands.  I renew the promises made at my baptism.  I turn my back on the Devil and all his works of evil.  I pledge myself to lead a truly Christian life.  But most of all I want to help You as best I can to win the victory for God and his Church.  Divine Heart of Jesus, I offer You mr poor efforts to make Your kingly power known and loved in every human heart.  And may Your peace be firmly established throughout the universe.  Amen.

Prayer to St. Michael

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in the day of battle; be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil.  May God rebuke him, we humbly pray and do You, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all other evil spirits who prowl through the world, seeking the ruin of souls.  Amen.

Evening Prayers

O My God, at the end of this day I thank You most heartily for all the graces I have received from You.  I am sorry that I have not made better use of them.  I am sorry for all the sins I have committed against You.  Forgive me, O my God, and graciously protect me this night.  Blessed Virgin Mary, my dear heavenly mother, take me under your protection.  St. Joseph, my dear Guardian Angel, and all you saints of God, pray for me.  Sweet Jesus, have pity on all poor sinners, and save them from hell.  Have Mercy on the suffering souls in purgatory.

Grant, we beg You, O Lord God, that we, your servants, may enjoy perpetual health of soul and body: and by the glorious intercessions o Blessed Mary, ever Virgin, may be delivered from present sorrows and may rejoice in eternal happiness.  Through Christ, our Lord.  Amen.

Prayer of St. Bernard (Memorare)

Remember, O most compassionate Virgin Mary, that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection, implored thy assistance or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.  Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto thee,O Virgin of virgins,my Mother; to thee I come; before thee I stand sinful and sorrowful.  O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.  Amen.

Prayer when Suffering

Sweet Jesus May Thine own patient, loving Heart teach me to accept suffering, and to prize highly every thorn Thou Gives me from Thy crown, every splinter of Thy Sacred Cross.

O Most Loving Heart of my Jesus Thou that art the fruitful source of all graces, deign to imprint in my heart a most perfect love of Thee, and of Thy dear Mother Mary an ardent charity for my neighbor, an entire resignation to Thy Most Holy Will a contempt for worldly pleasures, and a happy passage to  the eternity of Paradise.

Form of Consecration to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus

O most sweet Jesus, Redeemer of the human race; behold us prostrate most humbly before Your altar.  To You we belong; Yours we wish to be; and that we may be united to You more closely, we dedicate ourselves each one of us today to Your Most Sacred Heart.
Many have never known You; many, despising Your commands, have rejected You.  Have mercy on them all, most merciful Jesus, and draw them to Your Sacred Heart.  Be You King, O Lord, not only over the faithful who never have gone away from you, but also over the prodigal children who have forsaken You; and make them return quickly to their Father's house, lest they perish of misery and hunger.  Be You King of those who have been misled by error, or separated by schism; and call them back to the haven of truth and the unity of faith, so that there may soon be one fold and one Shepherd.  Grant to Your Church, O Lord, assurance of freedom and immunity from harm; give peace and order to all nations, and grant that, over the whole earth, pole to pole, may resound the words: Praise to the Divine Heart, through which was brought to us salvation; glory and honor be to It for ever.  Amen.
